Bytes Software Services is investing in dedicated product management and marketing capabilities to build packaged, high-value Microsoft solution offers that align with Bytes’ strengths and Microsoft’s strategic priorities (e.g. Frontier Transformation, Cloud, AI/Copilot, Security, Data & Analytics). This role is a hybrid of Product Manager and Product Marketing responsibilities, designed to drive a market-led product management approach to our Microsoft offerings.
The Microsoft Product Manager is the owner and driving force behind Bytes’ Microsoft-focused products, services and offers. This role focuses on identifying market problems and customer needs, defining winning solutions, and delivering them to market. Working cross-functionally with technical architects, solution leads, sales teams, marketing and Microsoft partner managers, the Microsoft Product Manager will take new services from concept and design through to packaging, go-to-market launch, and ongoing adoption.
The ultimate objective is to build a portfolio of repeatable, scalable, and commercially successful Microsoft offerings that solve real customer challenges and drive revenue growth for Bytes.
- Market intelligence & product strategy: Be the voice of the market. Research and analyse customer needs, industry trends and competitive offerings in Microsoft’s cloud and AI ecosystems. Identify and validate market problems and opportunities that Bytes can address with new or improved services. Develop a strategic roadmap of Microsoft-aligned solution offerings in areas like Azure, AI/Copilot, Security, Data & Analytics, Modern Work, etc.,
prioritising those with high customer value and growth potential. Ensure product decisions are data-driven and aligned to our overall business objectives. - Offer & service development: Drive the full product lifecycle. Act as product owner for new Microsoft-based offers and services, leading their development from ideation to pilot and launch. Collaborate with solution architects, technical consultants and Centres of Excellence (COEs) to design robust service offerings with industrialised, repeatable delivery models. Ensure each offering leverages Bytes’ expertise (e.g. AI, security, cloud) and converts technical capabilities into packaged customer solutions.
Oversee creation of all service components (scope, deliverables, methodologies) and ensure they are scalable across multiple customers without bespoke rework. - Standardised offer definition & packaging: Define clear, repeatable services. For every new offer, develop a standardised service definition covering the customer problem statement, target persona, scope (inclusions/exclusions), and a repeatable technical architecture & delivery method. Package offers into commercially ready formats such as named Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) offers, managed services, or packaged solutions that have consistent delivery parameters for all customers.
Ensure each offer has a defined pricing model and commercial structure and is documented for easy consumption by sales and customers. Emphasise a “factory model” approach – build once, reuse many times – to maximise efficiency and quality. - Go-to-market & activation: Bring offerings to market successfully. Develop comprehensive launch and go-to-market plans for each new offer. Craft compelling value propositions and messaging to clearly communicate customer benefits and differentiators. Create and deliver sales enablement materials (playbooks, pitch decks, battle cards, etc.) to ensure sales teams can effectively position the offerings. Co-ordinate with marketing to run campaigns that target relevant customer segments.
Work closely with Microsoft and internal teams to list offerings on marketplaces or align with Microsoft sales programmes, ensuring offers are transactable and visible in relevant channels. Drive a…
