The L&D Consultant is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating high quality learning solutions that build capability, improve performance, and support organisational objectives. The role works in partnership with stakeholders to diagnose learning needs and provide pragmatic, evidence-based learning solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Working with leaders, managers, and subject matter experts to identify learning and capability gaps.
- Translate business priorities into targeted learning solutions aligned with organisational strategy.
- Use data, feedback, and performance metrics to inform recommendations.
- Design engaging learning solutions using a blend of delivery methods
- Create learning materials that reflect best practice and is accessible, relevant, and inclusive.
- Deliver high-quality training sessions and workshops (in-person and/or virtual).
- Facilitate group learning, discussions and reflective practice with confidence and credibility.
- Adapt delivery styles to meet the needs of different audiences and learning preferences.
- Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on learning and development approaches.
- Manage multiple stakeholders and priorities simultaneously.
- Use insights to continually improve learning solutions.
- Contribute to the development of L&D frameworks, pathways, and standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to consult, influence, and build effective relationships at all levels.
- Professional qualification in Learning & Development, HR or related discipline (e.g. CIPD Level 5 or above).
- At least 2 years of experience in delivering training.
- Expert knowledge in Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong PowerPoint and other Office Tools.
