Working within a specialist Process Engineering team, you will undertake flow assurance studies for upstream developments while supporting projects spanning oil & gas, hydrogen, ammonia, decarbonisation and other energy transition technologies.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out flow assurance studies for upstream projects.
* Develop and run simulation models using OLGA, PIPESIM and other industry-standard software.
* Perform steady state and transient hydraulic analyses.
* Assess flow assurance risks including hydrates, wax, slugging, erosion and corrosion.
* Produce technical calculations and high-quality engineering reports.
* Support development of flow assurance philosophies and engineering procedures.
* Present technical findings to project teams and clients.
Requirements
* Degree qualified in Chemical or Process Engineering (or similar).
* Minimum 10 years' flow assurance experience.
* Extensive hands-on experience with OLGA transient simulation software.
* Experience using PIPESIM, PIPENET and pipeline simulation tools.
* Strong understanding of thermo-hydraulics and pipeline sizing.
* Experience of shutdown, startup, blowdown and transient analyses.
* Knowledge of surge pressure and over pressure protection studies.
* Good understanding of flow assurance challenges and mitigation techniques.
* Excellent report writing and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary engineering teams.

* Multiflash.
* Aspen HYSYS.
* FEED and Concept Studies.
* Topside Process Engineering.
* Client-facing consultancy experience.
