Credit Controller; part-time

Reports to: Director of Business Operations

Salary: £23.4K PA (30 hours PW over 4 days)

Based at our HQ in Leatherhead, we are seeking an experienced and proactive Part-Time Credit Controller to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the company’s receivables are collected efficiently and within agreed terms. You will take ownership of the credit control process, working closely with internal departments and directly engaging with clients to secure timely payment of outstanding invoices.

• Reconcile customer accounts and manage unallocated payments
• Investigate and resolve outstanding account queries, b uilding strong working relationships with clients and in-house departments to facilitate prompt payment
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Send statements, copy invoices and credit notes
• Monitoring aged debt reports and escalating issues where necessary
• Proactively chase debt via telephone and email to ensure timely payments
• Ensure compliance with company credit policies and procedures
• Reviewing credit applications, setting credit limits, and checking credit ratings.

• Previous experience working within a finance department (essential)
• Proven experience in credit control and debt recovery
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Confident communicator, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
