As a Live-in Care Healthcare Assistant (HCA) in Leatherhead , you'll provide personalised support tailored to each client's needs, including personal care, companionship, meal preparation, medication prompts, and assistance with daily routines. What you'll do

• Provide one-to-one support in a home care setting
• Help clients with day-to-day living activities
• Assist with personal care including washing and dressing
• Encourage independence wherever possible
• Prepare nutritious meals and support hydration
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Administer medication as required
• Assist with household chores and laundry
• Run errands and help with shopping
• Record important information in care notes
• Report changes in wellbeing promptly
• Communicate with families and healthcare professionals

This role requires a background check in line with safeguarding regulations. Depending on the role and location,this may involve a DBS, AccessNI, or PVG check. A criminal record will not necessarily prevent you from working with Medicare People.
