Medicare People is recruiting compassionate and dependable Live-in Care Healthcare Assistant (HCA) in Leatherhead to provide high-quality live-in care for people who wish to remain in the comfort of their own homes. As a Live-in Care Healthcare Assistant (HCA) in Leatherhead , you'll provide personalised support tailored to each client's needs, including personal care, companionship, meal preparation, medication prompts, and assistance with daily routines. We offer flexible placements to suit a range of lifestyles and levels of experience, along with ongoing support from our friendly care team.
With placements available across Leatherhead and surrounding areas, we'll work closely with you to find opportunities that match your skills and preferences.

What you'll do
- Provide one-to-one support in a home care setting
- Help clients with day-to-day living activities
- Assist with personal care including washing and dressing
- Encourage independence wherever possible
- Prepare nutritious meals and support hydration
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Administer medication as required
- Assist with household chores and laundry
- Run errands and help with shopping
- Record important information in care notes
- Report changes in wellbeing promptly
- Communicate with families and healthcare professionals

- Right to work in the UK
- Medication administration experience is welcomed
This role requires a background check in line with safeguarding regulations. Depending on the role and location,this may involve a DBS, AccessNI, or PVG check. A criminal record will not necessarily prevent you from working with Medicare People.
