CYPS Crisis Intervention and Paediatric Liaison Nursing Clinical Lead

In this role you will provide Clinical Leadership and support the Service Manager in leading and managing the Surrey wide CYPS Community Crisis Intervention Service [CIS] and Paediatric Liaison Service [PLN]. CIS and PLN services deliver crisis assessments and risk managements within the Acute Hospitals and Intensive Intervention Teams within all localities. You will also be responsible for the Clinical Leadership, some managerial aspects (as agreed with the Service Manager) of our Paediatric Liaison Nurses in Epsom General Hospital, Royal Surrey Hospital, and St Peters Hospital.

You will attend relevant forums [to support as identified by the Service manager] in the development of the services within the Emotional Wellbeing & Mental Health partnership and with external stakeholders. With resources available within defined areas, your role will involve providing Clinical Leadership, supporting clinicians in managing complex cases, risk management and robust care planning. delivering on the following key areas, coordinate and lead team functioning with particular focus on;

• Management of referrals including delivery of care
• Supervision of allocated clinical staff across Surrey and NEH services, Lead on the setting, monitoring, and maintaining of standards of care and advise on clinical issues which may have a negative effect on the standards of clinical practice being delivered.
