Overview

IT Apprentice opportunity at St John's School, Leatherhead, Surrey. Fixed term contract with a 20-month apprenticeship programme (Level 3 Information Communication Technician). Salary £23,450, 40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year. Start date August/September 2026.

• Assist with IT support for staff and students; respond to everyday technical issues and inquiries
• Help diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network problems
• Document and track issues and resolutions; maintain clear communication with users
• Learn and apply IT best practices; contribute to maintaining a reliable and customer-focused service

• Good understanding of computers, devices and software
• Willingness to learn, positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent customer care
• Ability to work in a busy IT department and collaborate with colleagues

During the apprenticeship, you will follow a fully supported training programme with The Development Manager Ltd, delivered through weekly remote classroom-based training, workplace assessment/training and online learning, working towards completing the Information Communications Technician standard.
