Audit Manager

Audit Manager, Guildford with Hybrid working - to £75,000

Our client, a highly respected accountancy firm, is seeking an Audit Manager to lead audits for a diverse portfolio. Working closely with Directors and Partners, you’ll ensure exceptional client service while managing all aspects of audit delivery, compliance, and strategic financial support.

What you’ll do:

• Build strong relationships with business owners and directors
• Oversee audits, risk assessments, and financial statement preparation
• Manage one-off projects such as due diligence, investigations, and valuations
• Drive quality control and process improvements
• Lead and mentor junior team members
• Support business development and proposals

What you’ll bring:

• Strong technical skills in UK GAAP, FRS 102 & IFRS (US GAAP a plus)
• Solid audit and accounts preparation experience
• Commercial acumen with a pragmatic, hands-on approach
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
• Team-focused mindset with a “can-do” attitude
