Talent Manager
We are seeking an experienced Organisational Development Consultant to support the delivery of the Trust's Strategic People Plan and drive sustainable organisational change. Working closely with the Chief People Officer, Director of Education and Workforce Leadership team, the postholder will lead and deliver Trust-wide OD initiatives that strengthen leadership capability, improve organisational culture, and support effective organisational redesign.
The role provides expert advice and hands‑on delivery across a range of complex change programmes, ensuring that people impacts are fully considered and embedded. You will work in partnership with senior leaders, HR colleagues, staff networks and trade union representatives to develop inclusive, consistent and values‑led people practices that support high‑quality patient care.
This is a key strategic role requiring strong consulting skills, experience of leading change in complex healthcare environments, and the ability to influence at senior level while delivering practical, measurable outcomes.
Main duties of the job- Lead and deliver a portfolio of organisational development and change initiatives aligned to the Trust's Strategic People Plan and wider NHS priorities.
- Provide expert OD advice and consultancy to senior leaders on culture change, organisational redesign, performance management and leadership development.
- Manage and support complex change programmes, ensuring the people impact of change is fully considered, communicated and embedded.
- Design and facilitate OD interventions, workshops and events that build leadership capability and support inclusive, values‑led ways of working.
- Use workforce data, staff engagement insights and recognised OD tools to diagnose organisational issues and inform evidence‑based solutions.
- Work collaboratively with HR Business Partners, Education team and Communications colleagues to ensure joined‑up delivery of people and change initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including staff networks, trade unions and ICS partners.
- Commission and manage external suppliers where required, ensuring value for money and compliance with financial and governance requirements.
- Evaluate the impact of OD interventions, measuring outcomes and return on investment to inform future workforce and organisational development priorities.
