Electrician

Bridges, listed on the Sunday Times Top 100 Places to Work 2024, shapes and supports engineering & construction for clients across the UK, delivering diverse projects from £5k to £15m across Water, Power, Energy and Aggregates.

This role will involve working as part of a team of electricians on industrial and water industry programmes in South West London, Surrey and surrounding regions for SES Water.

Permanent, 40 hours per week on site, Monday to Friday. Paid hourly with overtime. Travel time door to door paid.

• Complete electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and Bridges Electrical Safety Rules and Essential Standards.
• Adhere to all Health and Safety legislation and regulations.
• Ensure installations meet project quality plan and inspection & test plans.
• Follow and promote the STAR dynamic risk assessment and stop work if unsafe circumstances arise.
• Coach and mentor Electrical Improvers and Apprentices.
• Promote Bridges' values and positive health & wellbeing among peers.
• Act professionally as an ambassador for Bridges, supporting business goals and maintaining reputation.

• ECS gold card (essential).
• Experience with in water/construction industry.
• Industrial and/or panel wiring experience (desirable).
• Ability to manage own and others' workload with minimal assistance from Project Managers.
• Appropriate City & Guilds trade qualification.
• Fitness to work medical.
• Full UK driving licence.

• EUSR Water Hygiene.
• Inspection and testing certificate.
• PASMA / IPAF / Confined space.
• COMPEX.
