Orthodontic Dental Assistant - Part Time
Our state‑of‑the‑art dental practice is located at Fort Leavenworth, KS, and is part of Army and Air Force Exchange Services. We provide care to Military Families and Marine Veterans, focusing on building lasting relationships and delivering quality service.
Job Type: Part‑time
Responsibilities- Familiar with Tie Bands
- Familiar with Placing Bonding
- Impressions if applicable
- Familiar with Itero Scanning
- Familiar with Invisalign
- 6‑month Smiles
- Familiar with Standard Braces
- Able to build rapport with patients.
- Prepare patients for dental work.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication.
- Familiar with Dental software and equipment.
- Dental Assistants are responsible for the set‑up/break down, including disposing of any bio‑hazards properly.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment.
- Must follow all infection control procedures.
- Must be able to complete clerical reporting on a daily/monthly basis.
- Current Dental Assistant Radiology License / DANB
- Two (2) years or more of experience
- X‑Ray Certified
- Must have or be willing to obtain a Real to starting
- CPR/BLS
- Valid Driver License;
Reliable Transportation - Expanded duty dental assistant preferred
