The position is in the Art Department and will teach introduction to the arts and/or other art courses as needed and appropriate to the experience of the candidate. Experience in teaching basic design, printmaking, painting, and drawing is preferred. Knowledge of or experience with teaching digital photography, graphic design, and multimedia is a plus.

• Classroom instruction
• Maintain effective and timely student assessment and feedback
• Manage and foster an inclusive educational environment to serve all learners
• Maintain student attendance records in accordance with university policy
• Submit final grades on time
• Demonstrate professionalism with students, faculty, staff, and administration
• Timely attendance at all required training, division meetings, and university-related meetings, as appropriate
• Complete all required training, including training on Moodle LMS

• The successful candidate must have a Master of Fine Arts or related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Prior teaching experience is preferred
