Personnel Recovery Expert
Core Government Services is seeking a Personnel Recovery Expert to support the U.S. Army Combined Arms Center (USACAC) Personnel Recovery Proponent Office (PRPO).
OverviewAs a Personnel Recovery (PR) Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will develop task deliverables, prepare reports, design training, update doctrine, and produce content to modernize Army personnel recovery capabilities for large‑scale combat operations.
Service Deliverables- Authorship of innovative PR content and concepts that modernize Army PR during LSCO.
- Formatting, editing, and graphics development for doctrine, organization, and training products.
- Development of doctrine, organization, and training products using the Training Development Capability (TDC) and related systems.
- United States citizen.
- Active DoD Secret clearance or higher.
- Special Forces or Combat Arms leader with real‑world experience as a Personnel Recovery Officer (PRO) at battalion level or higher.
- U.S. Army SERE‑C graduate.
- Expert knowledge of personnel recovery across military operations, including defense support to civil authorities and civil search and rescue.
- Baccalaureate degree or higher in instructional systems design, training development, or related field.
- Minimum three years full‑time training development experience using the Army Training Development Capability (TDC) database or its replacement.
- Minimum two years editorial experience supporting production of Army doctrinal manuals per DA Pam 25‑40.
- Minimum two years graphic‑artist experience supporting Army doctrinal manuals (DA Pam 25‑40) and training products per T2
COM regulation 350‑70 or equivalent. - Familiarity with relevant Army and Joint publications (CJCSI 3270.01B, DoDD 3002.01, etc.).
- Adherence to facility security policies, required government training, and certifications (Anti‑Terrorism Level I, OPSEC, etc.).
Primarily at the government office at Fort Leavenworth, KS; occasional travel to temporary work locations for meetings, conferences, and training events.
