Position: Assistant Nurse Case Manager (KS)

We are seeking an Assistant Nurse Case Manager to join our team.

Hourly Range: $17.79 - $20.19

Your role is responsible for providing support to the Nurse Case Manager and permanency teams for the Kansas Foster Care program. This includes coordination of services, identification of providers and management of schedules for the youth in the program.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the nursing team to ensure efficient delivery of health services for children in out-of-home care.
  • Maintain organized and accurate medical records by filing, scanning, uploading and updating documentation within the electronic health record system.
  • Support medication management processes by preparing required documentation, monitoring medication supply needs, and assisting with audit readiness.
  • Track and follow up on outstanding medical records, provider reports, discharge summaries, and other required health documentation.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

Our ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of related experience and the following:

  • High school diploma / GED, required
  • Certificate in Medical Assisting or Nursing Assistance
  • Associates degree or medical training, preferred
  • At least 21 years of age and pass background check, physical, and drug screening
  • A valid driver's license in the state you reside in, proof of current vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
