Job Description:

Service Now ITOM and AIOps Specialist

Looking for an experienced Service Now ITOM resource with AIOps experience.

The candidate should have experience in implementing, configuring, and customizing Service Now ITOM modules, as well as experience with AIO tools and techniques.

Previous experience providing support and consulting for Service Now ITOM and similar tools like Truesight or Moogsoft is required. Solid experience with RHEL/CentOS and familiarity with command line and basic system administration are essential. Knowledge of MySQL and the ability to construct basic SQL queries is also needed.

Knowledge of some of the following technologies is preferred:
Nginx, Apache Tomcat, Elastic Search, Rabbit

MQ, REST, JSON, TCP/IP Networking, Java JVM.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and implement event processing rules, transforms, automation, auto assignments, views, integration activities, and enterprise adoption strategies for Service Now Event Management. Showcase strategies to teams and leadership.

Interface with management, assist with strategy, roadmaps, and design new functional expansions of the tool platforms. Be a self-starter motivated by success, capable of managing time effectively. Work outside normal hours and on weekends as required.

Design, develop, and implement Service Now ITOM modules, including Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.

Configure Service Now ITOM modules to meet business needs and ensure integration with other Service Now modules.

Develop custom workflows, scripts, and integrations as needed.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements. Use AIOps techniques and tools to optimize and automate IT operations processes.

Perform system testing and quality assurance activities.

Provide ongoing support and maintenance of Service Now ITOM modules.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Knowledge:

Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in tools/infrastructure and 3+ years in Service Now ITOM implementation, configuration, and customization.
Strong scripting skills, particularly in JavaScript, Shell, and Perl.
Experience with event management tools like Service Now ITOM, Truesight, or Netcool.
Development and implementation experience in Service Now ITOM, including MOM, Client, HLA applications.
Stay current with Service Now and AIOps technologies and trends.
Knowledge of Rabbit

MQ, Apache Tomcat, MySQL, Elasticsearch is preferable.
Experience with AIOps tools and techniques such as machine learning, data analytics, and automation.
Understanding of IT operations processes and best practices.
Experience with Service Now workflows, scripting, and integrations; knowledge of ITSM and CMDB modules.
Service Now ITOM certification is mandatory; additional certifications are a plus.
Familiarity with tools like Solar Winds and CI/CD practices.
Knowledge of Infrastructure Operations and experience in creating high-level and low-level designs.
Understanding of security best practices in server configuration and access controls.
Development or testing background is advantageous.
