Client Solution Architects (CSA) is currently seeking a MCIS Trainer to support our program at Fort Leavenworth in Kansas.
For nearly 50 years, CSA has delivered integrated technology and operational support services to meet the defense and federal sector's most complex enterprise needs. Working from operations centers and shipyards to training sites and program offices, CSA deploys experienced teams, innovative tools and proven processes to advance federal missions.
This position is contingent upon award.
Job DescriptionThe MCIS Trainer will conduct both formal information system operator training and informal over-the-shoulder MCIS training during collective training events. The trainer will plan, coordinate, and execute individual MCIS and simulation training at squad to corps echelons.
- Conducts both formal information system operator training and informal over-the-shoulder MCIS training during collective training events.
- Plans, coordinates, and executes individual MCIS and simulation training at squad to corps echelons.
- Performs classroom setup, networking of systems and supporting simulations, and instruction on applicable MCIS.
- Executes training on the system IAW Army standard POI following approved course instructional times.
- Must possess and maintain an active Secret Clearance.
- High School Diploma
- Must be certified and current with Army training doctrine.
- At least 2 years of MCIS teaching experience
- Has served as assistant instructor for the same courseware
- Has completed a course of study and subsequently completed experience, at a minimum, in the following;
Army MCIS, and MCIS software systems, and has completed a formal course of study in the subject(s) to be trained - A subject matter expert who has operated the system; and at least 4 years’ service in support to the Army or other defense service.
