The Gift Bag Operator position in Leavenworth is on 3rd Shift (11:30pm - 8:00am). The incumbent sets up and operates one or more machines to produce gift bags, ensuring cost, quality, and service standards are met. Duties include machine operation, quality control, equipment maintenance, and training of new employees. A sense of urgency and a continuous improvement mindset are essential.
In This Position You Will- Operate equipment efficiently, ensuring smooth and continuous operation.
- Monitor the production process to ensure all gift bags meet quality standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes.
- Train new employees on machine operation and best practices.
- Help develop and refine standards and job instructions.
- Perform routine basic maintenance and adjustments to prevent downtime.

Basic Qualifications- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Ability to frequently move materials weighing 35 to 50 pounds and to stand and walk approximately 95% of the time.
- Ability to push, pull, twist, bend, and reach above shoulder level.
- Ability to obtain forklift certification.
- Good math, written, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to understand and operate computer and ordering systems.
- Capability to work as part of a team under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to reorganize and change directions when necessary.
- Adherence to safety procedures for PPE and handling hazardous chemicals.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to learn and retain knowledge.
- Commitment to good customer service.
- Work overtime during peak seasons.
- Required to operate hand‑powered tools such as power saws and drills.
- Noise level requires hearing protection.
This position is located in Leavenworth, Kansas. Relocation is not provided.
