The Gift Bag Operator position in Leavenworth is on 3rd Shift (11:30pm - 8:00am). The incumbent sets up and operates one or more machines to produce gift bags, ensuring cost, quality, and service standards are met. Duties include machine operation, quality control, equipment maintenance, and training of new employees. A sense of urgency and a continuous improvement mindset are essential.

• Operate equipment efficiently, ensuring smooth and continuous operation.
• Monitor the production process to ensure all gift bags meet quality standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes.
• Train new employees on machine operation and best practices.
• Help develop and refine standards and job instructions.
• Perform routine basic maintenance and adjustments to prevent downtime.

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Ability to frequently move materials weighing 35 to 50 pounds and to stand and walk approximately 95% of the time.
• Ability to push, pull, twist, bend, and reach above shoulder level.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification.

• Ability to understand and operate computer and ordering systems.

This position is located in Leavenworth, Kansas. Relocation is not provided.
