Location:

Leavenworth USD 453 – 200 North 4th Street, Leavenworth, KS 66048. Online applications only.

Schedule:

Full time and part time schedules. 7:00 am to 2:00 pm; days may vary. More details will be provided during the interview.

Pay: $14.00–$16.00 per hour.

Prepares food in accordance with applicable federal, state and corporate standards, ensuring high‑quality, safe and nutritious meals are served at all times.

• Prepare high‑quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serve meals or prepare for delivery using correct portioning and maintaining appropriate temperatures; taste all prepared food items.
• Use established ticket collection procedures during service and maintain accurate records of start and end times.
• Clean kitchen after preparation and service, maintaining high cleanliness standards; store or discard excess food in accordance with safe food‑handling procedures.
• Keep refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized; ensure food and supply items are stored per standards.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assist in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required.
• Assist in ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.
• Report maintenance needs, faulty equipment or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
• Attend in‑service and safety meetings.
• Maintain positive working relationships with coworkers, administrators and managers.
• Perform work safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Follow HACCP standards for portion control, temperature and presentation.
• Commit to personal safety and the safety of others.
• Abide by all company policies and procedures, including the use of appropriate protective equipment and safe work practices.
