As we expand, we are looking for a detail-driven Senior Accountant to join our finance team and play a key role in building and strengthening our accounting and reporting processes.

Position Summary

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing key aspects of the company’s accounting cycle, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting. This role will work cross-functionally with operations, FP&A, and leadership to provide meaningful financial insights that support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
• Support revenue recognition processes, including contract review and compliance with ASC 606.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and analyze balance sheet and P&L account reconciliations.
• Assist with financial audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Collaborate with FP&A to provide variance analysis and operational insights.
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline accounting operations in a high-growth environment.
• Support implementation and optimization of accounting systems, tools, and automation initiatives.
• Mentor junior team members and support professional development within the accounting function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or progress toward CPA preferred).
• 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally with a mix of public accounting and industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience in SaaS, software, or other technology industry preferred.
• Proficiency in ERP and accounting systems (Net Suite experience a plus).
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and manage multiple priorities.
