Goering & Granatino is a growing professional services firm located in Leawood, Kansas. We’re seeking a Part‑Time Administrative Assistant I to support office operations and serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients.
Key Responsibilities Reception & Client Communication- Greet visitors and answer calls/emails with professionalism and warmth.
- Support client and staff needs with prompt, courteous assistance.
- Maintain a clean, welcoming reception area.
- Open and close the office (doors, elevator, equipment checks).
- Manage office supplies and equipment to ensure everything is stocked and functioning.
- Distribute incoming mail and coordinate outgoing mail, including postage machine upkeep.
- Assist leadership and staff with general admin tasks and special requests.
- Monitor shared inbox and collaborate with the admin team on task distribution.
- Scan and organize documents for digital storage and accurate record‑keeping.
- Receive, organize, and manage client documents (tax forms, engagement letters, etc.).
- Maintain and update digital filing systems using Go File Room and Sure Prep.
- Help locate and retrieve client records efficiently.
- Work closely with the office manager and admin team to ensure daily operations run smoothly.
- Promote a positive, team‑focused work environment through collaboration and communication.
- Welcome new team members and provide office tours.
- Show basics such as how to use the copier, scanner, and where to find supplies.
- Assist with planning office events, team meetings, and special gatherings.
- Help coordinate logistics for meals, activities, and celebrations.
- Take on additional responsibilities as they arise, ensuring high‑quality and timely completion.
- Education:
High School Degree. - Experience:
1 year of experience in an administrative or similar business role. - Skills:
Highly organized with attention to detail; strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities. - Tech‑Savvy:
Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Outlook, and other office software; quick to learn new systems and tools. - Team Player:
Collaborative, with a positive attitude and a willingness to help others. - Proactive:
Independent and able to take initiative while maintaining professionalism and adaptability in a fast‑paced environment. - Hours:
20‑30 hours per week.
- Experience with in a CPA or professional services environment.
