POSITION SUMMARY: The AV Coordinator works to ensure a consistent and quality sound each Sunday, as well as to oversee the volunteer AV team on Sunday mornings and during special church events.

PRIMARY

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage sound for the Sunday services (and special services & events, as needed)

• Provide oversight for the volunteers who run AV for rehearsal and during the services
• Monitor the live stream/house feed during worship services
• Ensure a quality and consistent sound in the sanctuary

Set up for services & events that require AV

• Communicate with the Worship Leader about AV needs/instrumentation
• Upload slides and lyrics to Pro Presenter
• Set up the stage before rehearsals

AV maintenance and upkeep

• Organize and maintain inventory of cable/AV equipment
• Coordinate with the Worship Team Leader for weekly needs

Admin

• Upload weekly sermon podcast to the website
• Schedule volunteers to serve on Sundays and during special services
• Train new volunteers

REPORTS TO: Worship Leader

HOURS: 6-8 hours per week, including Sunday mornings from 7am – noon.

PAY: $30-40 per hour
