Associate Service Advisor

J BLACK FINANCIAL GROUP, a successful and rapidly growing boutique wealth management firm, is seeking an Associate Service Advisor to join our dynamic, collaborative team. This role is essential in supporting our wealth management team while also elevating the client experience, ensuring every interaction leaves clients feeling cared for, supported and understood. With plans to double in size every few years, we are looking for talented, hard‑working individuals who not only excel in their specific role but are also committed to the direction and growth of the enterprise as a whole.

This is an entry to mid‑level position expected to learn and grow through the JBFG Wealth Management Enduring Vision Pathway.

The firm provides comprehensive, fee‑based financial planning, fee‑based investment advisory solutions, education funding strategies, holistic wealth management, retirement planning and risk management (which includes life insurance, disability insurance, income annuities and long‑term care insurance).

• Build fluency in JBFG's wealth management approach to actively pursue growth and promotion through the JBFG Wealth Management Enduring Vision Pathway career path.
• Support wealth management team.
• Draft fee‑based plan discovery letters, plans, existing client plan updates and recommendations.
• Perform AA, AL analysis and rebalancing reports.
• Prepare materials for client meetings.
• Gather statements, benefits booklets, etc. for fee‑based plans.
• Prepare and update client meeting agendas.
• Complete recaps, case notes and tasks.
• Complete client financial plan updates and provide synopsis.
• Answer routine service requests and client questions.

• Bachelors’ Degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Ability to follow through and execute on company objectives.
• Always do what’s in the client's best interest.
• Professionalism, high standards and diligence.
• Champions positivity in a fun, collaborative, energic team environment.
• Has GRIT.
• Maintains highest levels of client confidentiality.

• Previous role within Financial Industry.
• Life & Health insurance license.
• Securities Industry Essentials (SIE)
• Industry licenses: 6, 63, 65, 7.
• Familiarity with 15
