Job Description:
- Practicing infection control standards and using approved PPE and disinfectant agents.
- Follows department protocols for patient identification, informed consent, and time‑out procedures prior to starting exams.
- Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems.
- Educates patients about the exam and completes all exams in a timely manner, maintaining workflow and minimizing empty table time.
- Operates all imaging equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, and monitors, adapting protocols for patients of all ages.
Qualification Requirements:
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Bachelor's, High School Grad or Equiv (Required).
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Computed Tomography (ARRT‑CT) – EV Accredited Issuing Body, Basic Life Support – CPR Cert (BLS) – RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Certified Radiologic Technologist (R.T.
-CERT) – EV Accredited Issuing Body, Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) – EV Accredited Issuing Body, Medical Radiation Technology‑IEMA (MRT‑IEMA) – EV Accredited Issuing Body, Medical Radiologic Tech (MRT) – EV Accredited Issuing Body, Radiologic Technologist – License (RT‑LIC) – Accredited Issuing Body, Registered Technologist – Radiography (R.T.(R)(ARRT)) – EV Accredited Issuing Body.
Pay Range: $29.04 – $54.02
