Ironhorse Golf Course is excited to announce an exceptional career opportunity for a seasonal, full-time Greenskeeper. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and focus on providing superior service.

Performs a diverse range of activities involved in golf course maintenance and construction. Performs semi-skilled grounds construction and maintenance work and related tasks as required.

• Performs landscape maintenance using handheld equipment.
• Rakes and maintains sand bunkers.
• Operates small machinery for edging, trimming, and mowing.
• Prepares soil beds for sod, seed, and vegetative material.
• Handles tasks related to course detail, such as weed and debris cleanup.
• Assists with golf course setup procedures.
• Operates utility vehicles for hauling material and debris removal.
• Performs skilled duties such as pruning and plugging, based on experience.
• Operates equipment safely, maintaining awareness of surroundings.
• Incorporates safe work practices in all tasks.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Less than high school education; or up to one month of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Regularly stands, walks, sits, and uses hands.
• Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, or crouches.
• Regularly talks and hears.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds; up to 50 pounds with assistance.

• Works in wet or humid conditions and near moving mechanical parts.
• Occasionally works at heights or in areas with fumes or airborne particles.
• Frequently works outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Occasionally exposed to extreme heat and vibration.
• Noise level is loud.

• Valid Driver’s License.

• Ability to read and speak English to communicate with customers and co-workers and understand equipment manuals.
