Key Responsibilities
  • Learn and support our You First culture and core values.
  • Put supervisory skills to work, ensuring daily operations run according to plan and high standards.
  • Understand that we source great food for a reason and that our recipes must be followed.
  • Know the restaurant sales and traffic goals – and work to exceed them.
  • Coach and observe the First Watch Five Steps of Service being implemented at every table.
  • Understand the background story of our 10 Commitments – and put them into action.
  • Respond with a sense of urgency to both customer and employee concerns.
  • Communicate and take immediate ownership of repair and maintenance issues.
  • Be certified in food safety – and identify and coach in all areas of safe food handling.
  • Continuously scout for and interview candidates to join our team.
  • Keep company assets secure, including computers, point of sale, security systems and equipment.
  • Understand key responsibilities of every position in the restaurant.
  • Stop any inappropriate behavior immediately, investigate as needed.
  • Train, coach, and develop team members daily.
  • Recognize performance that goes above and beyond.
  • Account for all daily revenues and deposits.
  • Complete admin duties – and submit required paperwork on time.
