Automation Support Engineer
The Automation Support Engineer will provide technical expertise collaborating with cross‑functional project teams supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. You will support process control system configuration, integration, commissioning, and validation for new and existing production lines.
Please note:
This role operates on a 24/7 shift pattern.
- Configure, modify, and troubleshoot Delta
V control systems for batch processes. - Support automated systems commissioning, qualification, and handover.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex automation issues, ensuring long‑term system stability and performance.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including functional specifications, design documents, and test protocols.
- Support system upgrades and lifecycle planning.
- 5+ years of experience within automation engineering supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
- Hands‑on experience with the Delta
V automation platform suite. - Experience with PLC troubleshooting and logic modification.
- Knowledge of GMP and regulatory principles, with a focus on system reliability and efficiency.
