OverviewLilly is entering an exciting period of growth and is investing over half million to create a new state‑of‑the‑art manufacturing site in Lebanon, Indianapolis, focused on Gene Therapy Manufacturing. The LP2 Lebanon site will use the latest high‑tech equipment, advanced automated manufacturing systems, and aim to minimize environmental impact.
Responsibilities- Serve as the IT leader for the LP2 Site, reporting to the MQ IT Associate VP and LP2 Site Head.
- Ensure site operational readiness from an IT perspective, including site start‑up and integration of IT systems such as infrastructure, ERP, warehouse management, MEX, data historian, real‑time floor tracking, data integration, data analytics, data integrity, laboratory information management, CAPA systems, access security, building monitoring, risk management, MES, and related tools.
- Serve as a member of the Site Leadership Team, providing IT site functional leadership.
- Develop and implement a site IT strategic and business plan, benchmarking innovative solutions and adapting the roadmap to site evolution and new trends.
- Partner cross‑functionally locally and globally to establish and implement the site IT roadmap.
- Maintain a safe work environment and ensure staffing meets the site and functional agenda.
- Lead, coach, and develop team members, establishing a strong site culture based on Lilly values, expectations, and operational excellence standards.
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion in recruiting and development.
- Lead recognition, pay and promotion decisions, and talent assessment and succession planning activities.
- Support site recruiting to build IT capability.
- Provide leadership in cGMP and improvement plans within the IT function and in support of site cGMP improvement plans, defining and executing IT inspection readiness activities.
- Ensure the IT organization is functionally strong, operationally focused, and solution‑focused, prioritizing and removing barriers.
- Oversight of technical activities within the group and encourage knowledge sharing and education.
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 7+ years IT technical leadership experience working in pharma, manufacturing, and quality.
- 7+ years strong experience with MES system implementations, data integration, and advanced analytics.
- Role is Monday through Friday and based on‑site. Must be able to provide support for production schedules, shutdowns, and other inputs, including occasional extended or off‑hour work.
- Position will be based out of Lebanon, Indiana.

CompensationActual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is $132,000 – $193,600.
