About the job
New Cold is seeking a Site General Manager to help support our growth and the development. As the General Manager you will be responsible for managing all aspects of Warehouse Operations for a state-of-the-art highly automated cold-storage facility.
What you will be doing
Managethe local warehouse team and provide a level of service satisfying customer requirements, at a level of cost agreed in the budget.
Overseea supervisory team that leads daily site activities, driving results that exceed key performance indicators (KPIs).
Adoptthe New Cold culture and uphold company values, ensuring that a positive attitude to Health & Safety is embedded within the team on-site.
Directthe operational team in alignment with company policy, ensuring that agreed standards are understood and met.
Complete local KPI templates and share information internally, engaging the localteam to search for improvement opportunities.
Monitor and control all expenditure with a focus on payroll costs, reacting quickly to adverse variances.
Structure communication on-site to include daily team briefs and shift handovers.
Communicate with relevant parties any process deviations, quality issues, and service deficiencies, or risk of failure in these areas.
Complete agreed internal reporting and communication as required by the Management Team.

We are seeking motivated and forward-thinking individuals who thrive incollaborative and fast-moving environments. Our ideal candidate has:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 10+ years of warehouse operations management experience (preferably automated warehousing or food industry expertise)
• Strong P&L, finance, operations, team management, site planning and stock control experience
