Low Voltage Project Manager

• Recruit, hire, train, manage, supervise, promote, discipline and discharge all security systems project related staff.
• Effectively manage human resources issues per Company policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to meet customer and Company goals and objectives.
• Manage workload distribution and monitor customer delivery and job installation progress.
• Plan for, manage, monitor and maintain project profitability to achieve Company goals.
• Review all job cost postings for accuracy and completeness, including invoicing, customer collections and financial reporting.
• Manage quality and safety on customer work.
• Participate in and/or facilitate the bid process.
• Act as the Company liaison for interface with customer representative(s).
• Create, develop and implement account process improvements.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

  • Problem solving, critical thinking, and effective reading, writing and oral presentation skills.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and project documents, including specifications, reporting and quality requirements.
  • Ability to travel within branch and/or regional territory as needed.
  • Ability to learn Company and customer project management systems.
  • Ability to secure and maintain a Company sponsored American Express Card.
  • Proficiency with trade tools listed (punch tool with 110/66 block blade, 6/8 position crimp tool, Krone/3M/BIX, butt set, volt-ohm meter, 4-pair continuity tester, 5-gang punch tool).
• Education, Certification, License, and Skill Requirements
  :
  • High School diploma or GED;
    Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Experience in customer interface (liaison between customer and the Company).
  • Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory or managerial experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in telecommunications or related technical/construction field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and MS Project).
  • Must meet Company minimum driving standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to define a project, create a project scope of work, develop detailed tasks and manage to completion and customer turnover.
