Material Handler – Day Shift
Join the GXO Logistics team as a full‑time Material Handler (Day Shift, Tuesday‑Friday). You will be responsible for moving, packing, scanning, and counting inventory throughout the facility, ensuring accuracy and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
What You’ll Do- Support operations by moving material and inventory throughout the facility.
- Use hand trucks, conveyors, or other material handling equipment.
- Perform packaging, scanning, kitting, or counting of products.
- Verify orders, label products and use a handheld scanner.
- Adhere to the 7‑S program and maintain a clean environment at all times.
- Work safely to protect yourself and team members.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- Basic math skills, with or without a calculator.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural documents.
- One year of warehouse experience.
- Availability for a flexible schedule, including possible overtime.
- Experience with handheld scanners.
- Positive attitude and teamwork skills.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods.
- Perform bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, pushing, and pulling.
- Handle tools or equipment in hot or cold environments.
