Welder (Nights) – Hendrickson
Assist in the timely production of all welded parts and ensure welds being completed are within acceptable quality standards.
Essential Functions- Perform MIG, hand and robotic welding operations to produce product at the required production and quality level as instructed.
- Perform inspection on product utilizing total quality concepts.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as needed.
- Accurately report daily activities on work orders and other media as required.
- Conduct required quality checks using basic measurement equipment.
- Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards.
- Exercise safe working habits while operating machines, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of safety culture, participating in safety training sessions, and promptly reporting any safety concerns.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Prior welding experience, required.
- Ability to pass welding certification test.
- Must pass drug and alcohol screen and remain drug free throughout the term of employment.
- Must follow all safety practices and policies.
- Able to read and understand blueprints and geometric tolerances.
- Must be able to physically lift 65 lbs.
- Constant standing, walking, reaching, balancing, cervical spine motion, lower extremities, and simple grasp.
- Frequent forward bending, squatting, kneeling, and climbing.
- Lifting and carrying up to 40lbs.
- Non-temperature controlled manufacturing facility.
- Must wear eye, ear, and foot protection.
