Overview:
The ideal Director of Nursing Candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, and has strong knowledge of policies and governmental regulations. A passion for supporting and training stakeholders to provide the best care possible to residents.

• Manage the overall operations of the Nursing Department in accordance with company policies, standards of nursing practices, and governmental regulations to ensure excellent care for all residents.
• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the nursing services department and its programs in line with current rules and guidelines governing the long-term care facility.
• Assist with development and approve the final version of the Interdisciplinary Plan of Care for each resident in coordination with the physician, Medical Director, nursing staff, and outside consultants (e.g., nursing, dietary, pharmacy, therapists) in accordance with corporate, state, and federal guidelines.
• Ensure accurate completion of forms and reports for admission, transfer, and discharge of residents, including the nursing portion of the PAE, Initial Nursing Assessment, Minimum Data Set (MDS), Resident Care Plan, and the Annual MDS.

• Registered Nurse in good standing with the required current state license.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in long-term care and/or acute care settings.
• Minimum of two (2) years of management/supervisory experience.
• Current/Active CPR certification.

• Sign-on bonus: $15,000
• Base salary plus quarterly bonus up to 24% annually
