Outside Sales Rep

Salary Range: $65,000.00 To $75,000.00 Annually

Outside Sales Representatives are responsible to prospect and generate new commercial business. This position requires cold calling on commercial accounts in the field to generate new permanent sales and will also visit non-member and member clientele to provide detailed information on various products, programs or services offered by the company.

• Conduct sales presentations by physical visits to customer locations.
• Perform professional presentations or demonstrations of company product(s)/service(s) while on-site.
• Penetrate all targeted accounts and radiate sales from within client and prospect base.
• Generate and develop new business accounts in order to increase revenue, through prospecting and cold calling.
• Visits with current accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and to promote ongoing awareness of current and new products and services.
• Effectively generate sales and leads while attending conferences and trade shows.
• Preparing reports for sales and marketing and maintaining expense account, review weekly travel expenses, negotiate motel expenses, and suggest controls for expenses to meet budget guidelines.
• Using marketing data to maximize sales effectiveness and efficiency by using relevant sales management tools.
• Enhancing up to date knowledge on new products, procedures, services and tools by attending departmental and training meetings.
• Maintaining professionalism, diplomacy, sensitivity, and tact to portray the company in a positive manner.
• Providing product quotes to customers as needed.
