ResponsibilitiesAs a Mechanic at Mac Allister Machinery, you will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment malfunctions and failures. You will rebuild, repair, and maintain equipment and components, ensuring they are operating at their highest performance. Your mechanical aptitude combined with excellent problem‑solving skills will enable you to provide accurate repairs and exceptional service.
Qualifications Required- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of work‑related experience in a technician‑related position
- Valid driver’s license
- Must have required shop hand tools
- Certificate acquired through a vocational or technical school
- Valid Class B CDL
- 7+ years of work‑related experience with heavy equipment, preferably with a rental company or Caterpillar, and a working knowledge of hydraulics, powertrain, and electronic/electrical systems
