Job Description:
Journeyman Plumbers

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana

Pay Range: $22-28/hr with per diem of $10/hr worked

UNITED TRADES OF AMERICA is seeking skilled and dedicated Journeyman Plumbers to join our team for a project based in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your expertise while contributing to a high-profile construction project. Applicants must be local or willing to travel to the site.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with local plumbing codes and project specifications.
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and configuration of plumbing systems.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure efficient project completion.
  • Perform inspections to identify and resolve plumbing issues or deficiencies.
  • Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure proper functioning.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations, maintaining a safe work environment at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on projects.

    • Requirements:

  • Journeyman Plumber certification or equivalent, demonstrating a high level of proficiency in the trade.
  • OSHA 10
  • Must have 4-5 years of experience as a Journeyman Plumber.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, including pipe materials, fittings, fixtures, and codes.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments and conditions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
