Pediatric Hospitalist Physician

Coverage Needs Details:

• Call and Clinic Coverage
• In-patients and out-patient coverage needed
• Client is accepting candidates with or without MO licensure (Licensure required prior to start date, we will reimburse for any associated fees)
• Provider would support inpatient hospital unit and local clinic
• 24 hour beeper call on the weekends (7am Friday - 7am Monday)
• Call Details: 15 minute response time, typically 1 to 5 patients seen during callback
• Client is looking for 21 days of coverage per month (Facility is accepting multiple providers)

Candidate Requirements

• Must be board certified
• Required certifications: ACLS,BLS,PALS,NRP
• Support: 1RN, 1MA, 1
  
  APP, 1 Office staff
• Will be required to supervise APP
• Must already be licensed in MO to be considered

Job Details

• Schedule can be structured so that the provider works 1 or 2 weeks straight with a break, then resumes call/clinic for the third week. (Client is open to structuring call weeks in a way that works best for the provider)

• Est credentialing timeframe: 90 days (temp privileges available)
• Procedures:
  Vent management,Intubations,UVC,UAC,Lumbar Puncture,Chest tube insertion,Needle Pneumothorax, X-ray interpretation,EKG Interpretation,Suturing Lacarations, Circumcisions,Swallow Studied
• Cencus: 296 births annually. 1-5 patients seen per shift.
• Level II NICU
