The Role:
We’re looking for a talented and motivated Tax Staff to join a fast-growing, innovative professional advisory firm working with individuals and closely held businesses. The candidate will mainly prepare individual and business (flow-through) tax returns and coordinate with client support staff.
- Prepare individual and business tax returns at varying levels of complexity
- Review tax information supplied by the client and open items as needed
- Communicate with Pod, Seniors, Supervisors, Managers and Partner on work status and client issues
- Ensure deliverable deadlines are met
- Research new tax trends and regulations
- 1-2 years with a public accounting firm preparing individual and business income tax returns
- Bachelor s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Strong attention to detail
- Integrity within a professional environment
- Experience with CCH Axcess tax, CCH Pfx Engagement, and Quick Books
- Seeking or obtained EA or CPA certification
