Position OverviewWheeler Staffing Partners is seeking Support Services Representatives for multiple contract-to-hire opportunities in Lebanon, NH. This position provides administrative and clerical support related to medical records, healthcare documentation, and document processing. The Support Services Representative will process requests for medical records, Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), UB forms, itemized statements, and other healthcare documentation while ensuring information is accurate, properly maintained, and routed to the appropriate department or contact.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Previous healthcare experience is helpful but not required.
- Process requests for medical records, EOBs, UB forms, itemized statements, and other healthcare documentation.
- Review requests and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Route records and information to the appropriate business unit, department, or contact.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate electronic and paper records.
- Sort, scan, index, file, photocopy, and organize documents.
- Print, track, organize, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and documentation.
- Research information and independently resolve routine documentation requests.
- Prioritize multiple requests and assignments while meeting established deadlines.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient, medical, and business information.
- Provide professional customer service to internal and external contacts.
- Perform additional administrative and clerical duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 0–3 years of experience in a business office, administrative support, medical records, healthcare, or related environment.
- Previous healthcare or medical office experience preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with healthcare and medical terminology preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong data entry skills, including 10-key by touch.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective verbal, written, interpersonal, and listening skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to learn new processes, procedures, and systems quickly.
- Strong research, problem-solving, and independent work skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
- Ability to perform routine office functions, including scanning, filing, copying, and handling documents.
