Academic General Neurologist

Dartmouth Health is seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Academic General Neurologist to join our growing

Department of Neurology. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage in patient care, medical education, and optional clinical research in a dynamic academic environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care, educating the next generation of physicians, and contributing to the advancement of neurological research.

This is an outpatient position with generous appointment times and opportunities for a sub-specialty niche.

Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive outpatient neurology care, including the evaluation and management of a broad spectrum of neurological conditions. Teach and mentor medical students, neurology residents, and fellows. Engage in scholarly activities, including quality improvement initiatives and academic publishing. Optional research opportunities. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across various specialties to enhance patient care and medical education. Contribute to the expansion and improvement of neurology services within the department and affiliated institutions.

Ideal candidates should:

• Be BC/BE in Neurology by the ABMS or AOA
• Be passionate about quality patient care
• Have an active interest in academic pursuits
• Have participated in prior scholarly activities
