Overview
The Department of Radiation Oncology and Applied Sciences (DROAS) at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center seeks a full‑time radiation oncologist to serve at practice locations in Lebanon, ND, and St. Johnsbury, VT. DROAS is a member of the Dartmouth Cancer Center, the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College, and a NCI‑designated cancer center.

- Serve as a generalist radiation oncologist, providing comprehensive patient care and clinical services.
- Confirm diagnoses, develop and execute external‑beam radiation therapy plans (IMRT, IGRT, stereotactic), and monitor patient progress.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of A ‑certified radiation oncologists and physicists.
- Participate in academic endeavors, including resident conferences, teaching, and clinical research.
- Maintain clinical and administrative record‑keeping and participate in quality and patient safety initiatives.
- Provide patient and family‑centered care, obtain informed consent, and supervise advanced practice providers as directed.
- Advanced clinical degree (MD or DO) and residency training in radiation oncology.
- Board certified or board eligible in radiation oncology.
- Strong commitment to academic cancer care and collaborative practice.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to practice on an as‑needed basis across several locations in New Hampshire and Vermont.
- Board certified or board eligible in radiation oncology.
- Current medical licensure in New Hampshire and Vermont (or eligibility to obtain within 5 years).
- Active hospital staff membership.
