Academic Inpatient Psychiatrist, Dartmouth-Hitchcock – Lebanon, NH
The Department of Psychiatry at Dartmouth-Hitchcock is seeking an Academic Inpatient Psychiatrist to join its faculty at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center located in beautiful northern New England.
Responsibilities- Scheduled as a hospitalist covering an adult inpatient psychiatric unit at the academic medical center.
- Lead one of three interdisciplinary teams caring for voluntary and involuntary patients on our 24‑bed unit.
- Supervise psychiatry residents and medical students on a daily basis.
- Provide an average of 6–10 weekend calls per year covering the inpatient service.
- Take 8–10 weeks off per year for vacation or CME.
- Board certified (or eligible) in Psychiatry.
- Academic rank at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth.
- Salary commensurate with experience.
- Area of interest:
Physician. - FTE/Hours per pay period: 1.00 – 1.00 (40 hrs/week).
