Dartmouth Health’s Department of Radiology offers opportunities across New Hampshire and Vermont. Radiologists work at regional community hospitals, with most assignments at a single site. The role integrates into the larger system, providing access to system‑wide resources, academic appointments, and professional development. The position is part‑time (0.4–16 hours per week) with a shift typically including nights.
Responsibilities• Perform diagnostic imaging studies (ultrasound, CT, MRI, X‑ray) and minor procedures such as joint injections and biopsies.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, consult with referring physicians, and discuss imaging results with patients.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and engage in quality improvement and peer learning conferences.
• Contribute to teaching and scholarly activities as agreed with faculty development plans.
• Maintain full proficiency in mammography practice where applicable.
Qualifications- Diagnostic Radiology Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Active medical licenses in New Hampshire and Vermont
- Appropriate faculty rank appointment (Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or Professor) based on experience
- Experience with generalist imaging and minor procedural skills
- Ability to work part‑time hours (0.4–16 hours per week), including nights
- Annual salary range $578,000 – $606,000 (1.0 FTE)
