Overview
The Dartmouth-Hitchcock Pharmacy in Lebanon, NH seeks a full-time Lead Pharmacist to join our Inpatient team. This lead pharmacist position will serve as the leader for our cardiology pharmacy services. Consults with nursing and medical staff on prescription orders, patient reactions, and errors or complaints. Conducts drug utilization reviews and prepares drug review criteria for medical staff approval. Monitors drug therapies as assigned by medical staff and suggests alternatives.

Our ideal candidate is residency trained and has prior hospital experience, though all are encouraged to apply.
Schedule: Rotating 8-hour day and evening shifts between 6:00 AM-10:00 PM with rotating weekend coverage. We offer 10% evening, 20% night, and 15% weekend shift differentials when applicable.

- Vision
The pharmacist responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the operation of the pharmacy, including managing staff, ensuring compliance with applicable guidelines, and maintaining inventory of all medications.
- Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
- 1 year of combined clinical pharmacy/specialty and/or residency experience required. Pharm
D preferred. - Effective oral and written communication skills, as well as demonstrated interpersonal and team skills.
- Must have demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, with the ability to set priorities and make critical decisions.
Licensure/Certification s
- Must have a current, unrestricted pharmacist license to practice in the state of NH.
- BLS Certification within 30 days of hire for Clinical Pharmacist Leads in the Retail & Specialty Pharmacy if required to administer immunizations.
