Registered Pharmacy Technician - Retail, Per Diem

The Dartmouth-Hitchcock Retail Pharmacy at Centerra in Lebanon, NH seeks a pharmacy technician to join our team. In this role, the pharmacy technician works under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist performs routine and specialized technical and clerical duties as defined by the NH Board of Pharmacy for drug distribution to patients.

Our ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, and an attention to detail. Prior pharmacy experience is preferred, though all are encouraged to apply.

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Retail Pharmacy operates 24 hours/day, 365 days a year. We have a dedicated staff of over 40 technicians and pharmacists combined, and each one is encouraged to work to the top of their certification or licensure to promote patient health and well-being. • • Be at least 16 years of age
  • Have a high school or equivalent diploma, or be working to achieve a high school or equivalent diploma
  • 2 years of customer service experience preferred
    • Outpatient Pharmacy only
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required within 9 months from date of hire.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain composure under stressful situations.

• Registered Pharmacy Technician with the NH Board of Pharmacy required.
• If not registered at hire, must register with the Board within 15 days of start of employment as a pharmacy technician and post such registration in the pharmacy within 30 days (NH 803.01;
