Base pay: $21.72/hr – $33.67/hr.

Overview

$5,000 Sign on/Retention Bonus (External candidates only). Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, performs routine and specialized technical and clerical duties for drug distribution to patients.

This is a Full Time, 40‑hour per week, benefitted position.

• Shift Differential: 10 % evening, 20 % night, 15 % weekend.

• Answers phones.
• Prepares prescription and non‑prescription medication and/or devices.
• Stocks and replenishes stock locations and automated dispensing machines (ADMs) and/or robots (e.g., shelves, carousels, Parata).
• May assist with orienting and training pharmacy department staff.
• Communicates supply issues, problems or discrepancies to appropriate personnel.
• Assists in revising policy and procedure.
• Delivers meds to beds or patient care area.
• Inpatient Only:
  Prepares or compounds non‑sterile, non‑antineoplastic drug products in accordance with USP chapter under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Maintains hardware and software of the department's multiple computer systems.
• Outpatient Only:
  Electronically processes prescription orders and prepares prescriptions for verification by a pharmacist.
• Take verbal orders from providers, runs registers, performs production and data entry production.
• Processes third‑party claims.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.

• Associate’s degree in a health or related field (with 1 year of pharmacy experience) or the equivalent in education and experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain composure under stressful situations.

• Registered Pharmacy Technician with the NH Board of Pharmacy required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required.
• BLS Certification required within 30 days of hire for Retail or Specialty Pharmacy if required to administer immunizations.
