The Department of Psychiatry is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide inpatient care for patients on a newly renovated 24‑bed adult psychiatry unit. The role is integrated into an interdisciplinary team that includes physicians, nurses, care managers, social workers, and therapy staff, and is performed during weekday hours with no overnight or weekend responsibilities.

• Deliver comprehensive psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for unit patients.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement evidence‑based care plans.
• Teach and supervise nursing and medical trainees as part of the department’s educational mission.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives, research projects, and policy‐development activities.
• Participate in service‐related meetings and contribute to unit operations and patient safety.

• Graduate of an accredited APRN academic program.
• National specialty certification as a Psychiatric‑Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
• Demonstrated clinical experience in psychiatric inpatient settings.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with an enthusiasm for teaching.

• Eligible for RN licensure in New Hampshire and Vermont.
• Eligible for APRN licensure in New Hampshire and Vermont.
• Eligible for Federal DEA Registration.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
