Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Lebanon, New Hampshire.

The Birthing Pavilion is a LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum Unit) - we expect all
our nurses to be competent in all areas of the LDRP model. We do about 1300 deliveries a year.
There are 21 rooms, a 2-bed triage room, and 2 operating rooms
Unit works with Pedi and OB residents, a midwifery team, MD generalist team, Maternal-Fetal
Medicine (MFM) or high-risk OB team, and Pedi attendings. Unit does not do its own cervical
checks, FSE placements etc.
Unit follows AWHONN staffing guidelines which includes -
- 1:1 for Pitocin and active labors/intermittent monitoring
- 1:2 for cervical ripening
- 1:1 with Pitocin
- 1:2 for high-risk medication including Magnesium Sulfate and Insulin drips
- 1:3 for Antepartum and Postpartum couplets
- Minimum 3 yrs of RECENT, EQUIVALENT experience. Must have level 1 in the past 2 years. Must have ACLS, BLS, NRP and AWOHNN (intermediate or advanced).
