Summary: Provides fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient service to all Price Chopper customers. Oversees the bakery operation to ensure that financial objectives, product quality, and presentation standards are met, promoting sales opportunities. Ensures compliance with sanitation procedures and regulations. Oversees all clerks within the department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage bakery operations, ensuring product quality, inventory, and merchandising standards are maintained.

Monitor and control the bakery department's budget, including sales, gross profit, and shrink levels.

Ensure customer satisfaction through product availability, quality, service, and sanitation.

Merchandise bakery products and displays according to corporate sales programs.

Train bakery associates to meet corporate bakery standards.

Ensure adherence to sanitation regulations and timely completion of customer orders and deliveries.

Schedule bakery associates to meet customer needs.

Control shrink by following policies and procedures.

Perform other duties as assigned and adhere to company policies.

Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old, capable of managing others, and demonstrating follow-through to achieve results.

Education and Experience: High School Degree or equivalent, 3+ years of related experience, strong communication skills, basic computer skills, and satisfactory performance reviews.

Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks associated with bakery management, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
