Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Customer Service Rep
Associate
The Associate supports daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, efficient merchandising, and smooth donation processing. This role plays a key part in advancing the organization's mission by helping generate revenue through the sale of donated goods.
Responsibilities:Perform other duties as assigned to support the mission of LCS.
Qualifications:- High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Passion for non-profit work and thrift store operations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Respect for and ability to maintain client confidentiality.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and pricing items.
- Ability to lift up to 40-50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

CognitiveSkills:
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively and professionally. Occasionally use math skills. Handle difficult situations diplomatically while maintaining professionalism.
Physical Demands:Constantly on feet, walking, and standing. Frequently reach, handle, and finger. Occasionally bend, squat, climb stairs, push, and pull. Rarely crouch, kneel, crawl, balance, twist, stretch, and sit. Frequently lift/move 25-50 lbs.
Work Environment:Exposure to noise, fumes, dust, and seasonal temperatures. The sorting area has some environmental control but is exposed to outside temperatures when doors are open.
