Compensation: $20.00 - $22.00 / hour

Job Summary: Alliance Group is seeking full-time Controls Technician Apprentice based in West Lebanon, NH to join our growing Controls team.
The Controls Technician Apprentice will be field-based and responsible for assisting with installation, maintenance, and troubleshoot low-voltage electrical systems. This person must demonstrate excellent communication skills, as well as an aptitude for problem solving, time management, customer service, and be a team player.

• Safely perform low-voltage electrical installation and maintenance routines with a senior technician
• Review blueprints, building codes, or specifications to determine work details or procedures
• Assemble and install building automation equipment, fixtures, using a variety of industry recognized methods with the use of hand or power tools
• Mount and terminate devices, run conduit, and pull wire on a wide variety of systems
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems
• Wear and maintain all required safety equipment (PPE) at all times
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
• Maintain records, including apprenticeship logbooks
• Determine the right tools and equipment necessary to successfully complete a job
• Clean the job site after the work is completed

• Experience in the electrical field and construction is desired but not required
• Must be an energetic and enthusiastic collaborative team player
• Must be able to follow directions from a senior technician
• Knowledge of Build-Ops platform desired
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• High level of reliability, follow-through, discretion, and integrity
• Must possess proactive, positive problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills both written and oral
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs on a daily basis
• U.S. citizenship or a current, valid U.S. work permit is mandatory
• Applicants must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license.
• A background verification and motor vehicle check will be required.
• A pre-employment post-offer Human Performance Examination is required for this position.
